Their sound is strongly influenced by the cure, the jesus & mary chain, depeche mode, my bloody valentine, joy division & the sundays. They have been described by enthusiastic fans as electro/indie with a shoegaze & goth persuasion. Originally, Starcrossed was the epitome of guitar driven indie-rock, but, to the resounding praise of fans and new friends, the band’s sound has evolved over the years into a cosmic cocktail of 80’s electro-pop with a twist. They continue to play at numerous san diego venues to a variety of audience and age groups.
